At the end of last year I was heartily fed up of the gym rut I had fallen into – half an hour of running and a few grumpy sit ups. I needed to either pick up the pace or give up – and blessed with a body that gains two stones and bloats if not minded carefully the latter was not an option.
I started training with Bev just before Christmas last year, one morning a week for an hour. She identified my goals – to build strength, particularly abs and upper body, improve overall fitness and lose half a stone. From the start she gave me workouts that were achievable but always pushed me to do more than I thought I could, which week after week was hugely satisfying. She has shown me loads of ways to use all the equipment in the gym to get a much more interesting and challenging work out than I had ever been able to achieve before and has also given me several programmes to do on my own. As I get better – they get harder – she always has another trick up her sleeve to keep me progressing…
I started off with 6 sessions and 6 months later I am still going back for more. I am undoubtedly much stronger and fitter than I was. My running has improved and I can now run much further and a bit faster because my legs are stronger and overall fitness has improved. My husband says in certain lights I might even look a bit athletic and my daughter (age 8) says I now have a tummy like a teenager – they are my greatest fans! All dietary lapses I confess are mine and mine alone…

Paul Mason Man or Legend ?
I booked Paul initially because i was amazedby his extensive knowledge of his subject, he hasn't disappointed.
Paul has designed fitness and weight loss programs for me that have really worked, he has also looked into my diet and eating patterns and given me advice that is costing me a fortune in smaller size clothes.
You cannot buy the feeling when you fit into a pair of size 30 jeans for the first time in 22 years.
I now have muscles developing where before there was just fat, he has even improved on a long standing problem area for me: my wallet - opening muscles, these have strengthened to the point where i keep booking Paul again and again.

NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING SLIM FEELS!
I hadn't really noticed my weight creeping on until one day I looked at some photographs that had been taken and was truly shocked.
I immediately booked an assessment with Paul thinking I would get a programme and go my own way in the gym. I was totally astounded by the information I received from Paul, not just about exercise but also my eating habits and lifestyle. He gave me some of the best advice I have ever received. I was so motivated from his advice I then booked in for a personal training session. When asked what my goal was, being a size 16, I replied "I'd like to be a size 10 by Christmas" (Christmas being only 12 week's away). I was only joking and didn't think I'd get anywhere close to a size 10. I hadn't been a size 10 since I was age 10!
I started to train once or twice a week with Paul and was so motivated I even trained a few times by myself. I couldn't believe how quickly I started to see results and the jogging bottoms that I originally bought for the gym were now too big for me. True to his word 12 week's later I could comfortably fit into size 10 clothes and for Christmas I even bought a size 8 dress.
Paul has truly changed me as a person and my whole perception of food and exercise is now totally different. I actually eat more (which sounds crazy) and I can honestly say I will never go back to how I was. He makes so much sense, nothing is faddy or O.T.T.
Paul truly is a inspiration and I cannot thank him enough. Don't get me wrong, I hate him for the god awful stuff he makes me do but no pain, no gain and it really is true. Nothing tastes as good as being slim.

I had been a member of the health spa for several years. During that time I was generally keeping fit but not acheiving much else. During that time i was generally keeping fit. During one of my rowing exercises Paul was in the gym and gave me a few pointers. I also noticed him giving a training session and thought - that is the way to go. After talking to Paul he asked what i wanted to acheive "well a ladies equivalent of a six pack would be nice and generally toning up" was my reply. I thenI then enrolled for twelve sessions once a fortnight. During this time he reguiarly reviewed my progress and varied the exercises to keep it interesting. He always explained what he was trying to acheive and this kept my motivation, when the weight started to come of and the muscle tone improved it encouraged me to to stick with the program. I always look forward to or training sessions even though at times my muscles ached for days now 6 months later i have lost the excess weight, feel fitter and all my friends want to know how i acheived it. I will continue training with Paul to keep the momentum going. Start training with Paul and you can acheive your goal too.
